On the weekend of October 31st, from 17:00 to 23:00, a Halloween party was held at the Akiba District Arcade in Utrecht. Some of my friends were invited to DJ, so I decided to join them as the event’s photographer.
Throughout the evening, the DJs kept the crowd entertained with a spooky mix of tracks, and there were also performances to enjoy. DoReMelody put on two idol shows, and there was a cosplay contest all the creative Halloween costumes.
One thing that really stood out to me was the decoration. A lot of effort had gone into setting up props around the venue, some even moved when you walked past them, adding the atmosphere.
The music genres fit the Halloween theme perfectly, from classic spooky TV tunes to industrial drum and bass, which worked perfectly for the night.
