Since I wrote my first review in 2015, Dutch Comic Con has become an established name not just among gaming and comics lovers, but also among the public. This was also the first edition since the COVID pandemic, which meant they could fully unpack again, and I was looking forward to a big and fun event. Especially at the beginning of the day, when little had yet been sold, it was crowded. Previously, the artists and the sales stalls were separated from each other, but this time it seemed to be more mixed. The visitors could also compete in a competition or try new games, which was typically a show but inefficient because few people could play at the same time. The result was that only a small portion of them could participate in it. The rest of the event was quite similar to previous editions, with shows and lectures planned on the main stage and activities spread throughout the event such as demos and the competitions.
